Papa Wyattie's Mark

I know, it's an interesting title. Wondering what it means? It's very simple. Papa had a birthmark on his forehead, right smack dab between his eyes. Many of his descendants including me, have that same mark. I was just wondering how many of you that descend from Wyatt have that red spot between your eyes. I know several of the grandchildren have carried it. Mine is still noticeable, due to my fair skin, others like my grand nephew, his great great grandson faded away while he was still a toddler simply because he has a much darker or olive skin complexion. So if you have noticed this birthmark between your eyes or your children eyes and wondered where in the world that came from, now you know. It's your Papa Wyattie Mark. The photo of Papa shows the mark but it is very light. If you save this picture to your computer, by right clicking on it, and make it bigger you will be able to see the birthmark better.
Whether you were born with The Papa Wyattie Mark or not please let me know by taking my poll listed left of this post. Vote yes if you were born with the mark but it faded away over time. I'd like to know. Answer for each person in your family by clicking yes or no then vote and repeat for each member of your family. By the way Papa had his till the day he died and looks like I will too. Poll is closed 11-3-09.

The Wyatt Williams Family

With this partial tree you can see where you fit into our family. From here we will look back in time to discover from whom we descend. As I stated before, I will not post information regarding living relatives. Therefore, if you are not sure which one of the following people you descend from, ask your parents, or leave me a comment to that fact and I will tell you. Hope all of you enjoy this blog as we discover together the origins of our ancestry. Please feel free to leave comments and corrections in the comment section. I strive to post correct information, but mistakes happen. Please tell me so I can double check my sources and records.

Welcome

Welcome to my blog. Hopefully you will find this interesting and intriging . Beware, my fellow family members this is addictive. Collecting dead relatives is a favorite pass time for millions of people worldwide. So this is your warning----if you read this blog it could cause a life altering addiction. You will start roaming through cemeteries, digging through dirty files in courthouse basements, and searching for hours online for ancestors. I am a Family History Junkie and proud to be listed among the crazy people that thinks a fun day is spent reading tombstones.
I will start out with listing a partial family tree starting with the children of Wyatt and Ethel Hughey Williams and working my way back in time. I will not post anything regarding living descendants. So if you are a descendant of  Wyatt and Ethel and you want a complete tree just leave a comment and give me your email address and I'll get one to you. If you don't have an email address then give me your mailing address. You can expect the family tree to be posted sometime next week.
